Chef E's Soul Food was established as Big E's Soul Food in Minneapolis, MN in February 2002. Since then it has earned the reputation of being the Twin Cities premier Southern and Soul Food restaurant through the culinary talents of Executive Chef Eric (Big E) Austin
Our Roots and Mission:
* to become synonymous with the term Soul Food in Minneapolis / Saint Paul and achieve national recognition in the world of theme based dining restaurants
* to create and maintain a profitable principaled Southern and Soul Food based company
* to promote racial and spiritual harmony in the Twin Cities through soulful dining.
Philanthropy:
We intend to develop "E-found". The foundation will be dedicated to promote cultural understanding and creative expression through music, art, literature and theatre for disadvantaged youths of all ethnic backgrounds.
In addition, Chef E's Soul Food Inc will dedicate a percentage of total yearly profits to charitable organizations, such as but not limited to UNCF, etc...
Distinctive Soul Cuisine:
Chef E's passion for Southern Soulful cooking is evident in each facet of his extensive menu. Combining the formal techniques of his training with Southern Root cooking Chef E has created what he's dubbed "Neo-Soul" cuisine.
